Annual Block Party w/ Chili Cook-Off Contest
We heard your feedback about the annual block party and are excited about changing things up this year. We’re moving it to a later date, returning to a neighborhood-favorite location, and adding a fun chili cook-off challenge!
Bring your favorite chili recipe to enter the competition, along with an ingredient list for anyone with allergy concerns. The HOA will provide the chili essentials. If chili isn’t your thing, we’d love you to bring a side dish or dessert to share. Bottled water will be provided. You’re welcome to bring your favorite beverage of choice.
Saturday, October 3rd
Join us in the Fox Path Cul-de-sac for a cozy afternoon of food, fun, and neighborhood connection.
Special Guests: The West Dundee Fire and Police Departments will be stopping by with vehicles for children and families to explore, along with an opportunity to get “deputized” !
Tables, chairs, and canopies will be set up, but lawn chairs are recommended. We look forward to bringing neighbors together for a fun afternoon and a chance to get to know one another better!!!

- 4:00 pm Block party officially starts
- 4:15 pm Icebreaker
- 5:00 pm Corn hole competitions
- 5:30 pm Fires started with s'mores
- 5:45 pm Game (Get to know your neighbor)
- 6:00 pm Piñata
- 6:15 pm Winners of chili cookouts announced

- All Chili submissions to be served from a common table, please submit your entry in a crockpot-type container.
- We will provide small cups for taste test judging by all attendees.
- Electrical outlets provided to keep your chili warm.
- We will provide signage to maintain anonymity & identity/label entries by the following:
- Name/Description of Chili Recipe
- Entry #/Code for Judging
- Note space for allergy warnings
- **Due to food allergies, please bring a complete list of all the ingredients used in your chili.**
- Prizes to be awarded for a minimum of 3 categories:
- Peoples Choice (Audience Favorite)
- Most Unique Recipe
- Kids Choice
